Moringa Skincare Showcased to Vice Trade Minister

TRIBUNFLORES.COM, LABUAN BAJO – New Eden Moringa, Labuan Bajo showcased “Nemu,” a skincare product made from moringa leaves, to the Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri, during her visit to Labuan Bajo on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Observed by TRIBUNFLORES.COM, the skincare products were displayed in open brown packaging on a small table, including serum, face wash, and more.

During the official visit, the Deputy Minister viewed and inspected several New Eden Moringa products. All products produced by New Eden Moringa use moringa leaves as the main ingredient.

“We also have a newly launched product, Nemu, skincare made from moringa leaves,” said Elfira, a staff member of New Eden Moringa, to the Deputy Minister and attendees.

Aside from “Nemu,” other products showcased included moringa leaf tea in two variants—moringa blue tea and moringa tea—moringa soap bars, and moringa powder.

“We also have granola made from moringa. It’s perfect for vegetarians, especially for those on a diet,” explained Elfira.

New Eden Moringa products have been exported to 12 countries, but exports stopped in 2022 due to customs challenges and certain internal considerations.

New Eden Moringa is located on Verhoven Street, Batu Cermin Village, RT 16, Komodo District, Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai.

On this occasion, the Deputy Minister of Trade appreciated New Eden Moringa’s efforts, especially the product packaging.

“This packaging is already very good,” said Dyah Putri, while holding the light blue packaging of moringa tea.

Regarding export matters, Dyah Putri said she would coordinate with Indonesian trade representative offices abroad.

“In the national export development program of the Ministry of Trade, hopefully this synergy can be well fostered so that the people of Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, can continue to progress,” Dyah Putri told TRIBUNFLORES.COM.

Dyah Putri expressed that the moringa tea from New Eden Moringa in Labuan Bajo was “delicious and excellent” when giving her testimonial after tasting it.

“Wow, delicious, excellent! They say if you drink it before bed, it can help you sleep well,” she said cheerfully.
