The Indonesian Vice Minister of Trade visits New Eden Moringa

Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti, visited CV Surga Timur Indonesia (New Eden Moringa) in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

The Deputy Minister stated that New Eden Moringa had received Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) food safety certification for its moringa products from the Directorate General of National Export Development (Ditjen PEN) in 2023. This certification is expected to expand the market reach of its products.

She added that activities to help expand export destinations include pitching and business matching, participating in the Trade Expo Indonesia, and joining international exhibitions.

The Deputy Minister also encouraged New Eden Moringa to make use of trade representatives abroad to further broaden their overseas market.

The event was also attended by the Director of Primary Product Export Development, Miftah Farid; Head of the Center for Export and Trade Services Human Resource Development, Sugih Rahmansyah; and Deputy Regent of West Manggarai, Yulianus Weng.
